It began with Pierrot's song Human Gate. Kikasa was the one singing and Sakito played the guitar. Kikasa sang the song while looking at the lyrics booklet. But Snoopy also had an eye for the drummer who was quite kakoii... (was the one playing drums Miyabi? Couldn't quite remember now..)
The band members look quite different from photos especially when they had no make-up and were quite casual.

Anyway we just stay there and watch... somehow boredom seems to surround us... Probably because we were in there before the opening time and had to wait nearly an hour standing there. Sakito played the wrong key twice and everyone including Sakito laughed at the mistake.

After they finished singing, all the members were out on the stage and they talked for awhile. Then it was time to distribute cakes. Everyone line up to take the cake. Many of them had presents prepared but we didn't know and it was impossible to prepare anything at this last minute. Furthermore our bags are in the locker.

Finally it was our turn... so went up there. Kikasa was the first to greet us. He distributed the drinks. And he drink alot of the drinks too so the staffs had to bring out new trays of drink more often.. Sakito prepared the tissue, plastic fork and the paper plate. Miyabi places the cake on the plate and Kazuki handles the candles.

Shizu took the drink and cakes. Snoopy was behind Shizu and dunno what came over Snoopy, who just feel like shaking hands with them... So Snoopy shook hand with each member and wish them Merry Christmas (dunno what to say to them) and happily they wished back too... Shizu also shook hand with Sakito.
The members were quite friendly. Snoopy finds Kikasa quite friendly actually (though some people say he isn't), Sakito a bit blur (maybe too engrossed in preparing the tissues etc.. ), Miyabi was quite 'automatic' (haha.. snoopy wants to laugh.. he had to called Sakito after hearing Snoopy bark -_-;), and Kazuki was friendly too.

Then Shizu and Snoopy were back down at the stage again. This time, we just stand near to the left side of the stage. Holding the drink and the plate of cake, we waited wearingly for the next activity. Soon, the cake distribution finished. Then Sakito came upfront of the stage to talk. Everyone had already light their candles on the cake. There was a short MC session, and he talked a little, saying, "I will say Merry Christmas and then 3.2.1 we'll all blow out the candle" Then Miyabi interrupted, "Why do we have to say
"Why do we have to say 3.2.21 then a little about singing a christmas song, then blowing out the candles etc.

Prior to distributing out the cake, when miyabi first talked, he had already said "Baby Merry Christmas" to everyone. But Sakito said only "Merry Christmas". So Miyabi insisted that Sakito must say "Baby Merry Christmas". Sakito decided to try and he was trying to sound sexy so he said it with a rather low tone "Baby....Me.." everyone already started laughing already.. he laughed too... Then he did a few takes and finally it went well but still is funny... =p

Then the light was turned off and the light from the candles took the job of lighting up the place. Everyone sang a christmas song and after that they blew the candles and the light was turned on again..

While everyone is eating the cake, the staff cleared the stage for the aucoustic session. After the cake eating session had finished, we realised that people start to get in position and we sorta chose to stand near Miyabi's side of the stage. Then Kazuki came out with an aucoustic guitar and Kikasa took position for the vocalist. Then they sat down and Kikasa introduced that he was going to sing Fumiya Fuji's True Love. He had decent vocals. Their performance was well received by the fans and after singing, they demand an encore, and Kikasa repeat the same way as he had spoken and sang the same song again... Though the fans still shouted for encore, they let Miyabi and Sakito perform.

So Miyabi and Sakito marched out onto the stage. And Miyabi played the aucoustic guitar while Sakito sang. It was a Christmas love song, but we aren't sure of the title. You can find Sakito's voice struggling in some parts of the song. But Miyabi's guitar skill was an eye opener. This was the first time we had a good view to watch Miyabi play the guitar. Shizu couldn't describe it but she just wanna watch and watch. Snoopy likes his style of playing the guitar, it was wavy and just so nice to watch. He was able to switch between the fast and slow beat within a flash.... hmm really impressive!

After 8 minutes or so, they finished the song. Was the song stretched? Snoopy thinks so.. When they finished the song, Kikasa and Kazuki came out with the MC. The MC asked the fans which team is better as the losing team have to accept some punishment. The fans keep clapping for Kikasa and Kazuki (probably wanting to see how Miyabi and Sakito suffer for the punishment hehe =p)...

While the fans were clapping, Miyabi had this "I can't believe it!" look and ask the fans to clap once more. The fans did the same thing, this time, even louder.... Miyabi and Sakito had lost!! So they have to accept the punishment. They were told to go backstage and prepare for their punishment. Meanwhile the crowd ask Kakuki to sing. At first he refused but after repeated requests, he finally agreed and sang Shingo Mama's Oha Rock song. As he was singing, the fans were going the "Oh ha" actions and sang along.
Kikasa was laughing at a corner. They sang serveral time and Kazuki couldn't control his laughter when it reaches the chorus, so he keep laughing at that stage. After singing a few times he didn't want to sing again, but due to the fans' requests, he obliged. And he tried hard to sing without breaking out laughing and when he sang finish, he and Kikasa had actually dropped to the floor laughing crazily...

After a short break, we saw a fierce, skinny and grumpy Santa Claus stomping out from the corner of the stage... He flung his Santa bag onto the floor and tore off his Santa beard.

"MIYABI!!" the crowd went wild.

Then Sakito came out, trying to hide himself.. He was in a reindeer suit. The fans burst out laughing, Sakito was kinda embarressed too as he also knew that he looked very funny. Miyabi was very wicked, he keep pointing at Sakito and laugh and laugh so loud... -_-; Sakito looked back at him and laughed too... well Sakito was cute and funny snoopy think ^^...

When everyone stop laughing, they proceeded to sing Glay's Winter Again. Again, Sakito couldn't reach some of the notes, but Miyabi's playing was really impressive. The Santa belt keep getting in his way by trying the touch the guitar string and many a times, he was spotted flinging the belt away in irritation. His Santa sleeves were too long also... Feeling hot in the Santa suit, he unbottoned the top 2 buttons.. we spotted 2 sexy moles on Miyabi's chest.. ^^" haha just kidding (in the feb vicious also can be seen) .. and Miyabi had on the 'ear hook' (not earring) instead of lip ring on the lip.

When they finish singing, they started taking requests for the last 3 songs they're going to perform before giving out the presents. The crowd requested for Muddy Blood, Jisatsu Ganbou and something else. Sakito complaint about being hot and tries to rearrange the reindeer costume and everyone laughed. He looked especially funny without his front fringe... he must have knew it too coz he always remember to put his fringe back.. once people laugh he knew he forget that...

The head banging, pushing and shoving started when they perform the songs non-stop. Somewhere along the way, Shizu managed to touch Miyabi's hand a few times. Snoopy reached out once but managed to touch it.. haha... somewhere along the event, Miyabi was spraying lots of those pinkish gel, it smell like Candy but is not edible.. did Shizu think it was some kind of candy at first?? Haha but Snoopy like that sweet smell. Everyone was trying to catch the stuff when Miyabi sprayed them. Snoopy also got some for souvenir purpose =p .. Later Shizu also got the decoration at Miyabi's mic stand...

During Jisatsu Ganbou, the fans were singing along too. They make good chorus as it was rather pleasing to the ears.

When the singing session ended, they start to give out presents by lucky draw. But this blur Snoopy and Shizu did not write the number down so they didn't pay much attention at the number calling and giving out of the presents... around twice, Sakito drew and called out the numbers, there was no one to receive it.. (well it could be these two blur souls =p) Some of the presents include 2 small christmas tree, some guitar stickers, Miyabi's personal purikura, one of them was taken with Dir en grey's Kyo (The Kyo was actually a pic already on the purikura), some member photos and even Sakito's sweater (but Sakito smelled it to make sure it wasn't smelly before they give it away), their Santa hat etc.. They gave away much more than they had planned... They even went as far as taking off the Santa and reindeer costumes to give away.. and more Santa hats... they wore it on their heads before giving it again.. ohh and even the Santa beard.. haha well.. ^^ They just give whatever they can find... well it really make the fans happy ^^

We thought that after the present giving, the event had ended.. but no.. they continued to perform more songs. They said it was more like their rehearsal and of course the fans were more than happy... The first song they played was Glay's I'm in love. After that, they sang non-stop for their own song and everyone was going mad. Of course when they play more songs, Snoopy had more chance to watch Miyabi play since the place where Snoopy stand had a very good view.... and Shizu had more chance to molest Miyabi...

The songs went by in a trance and each of us were too engrossed. Shizu's hand was up and reaching for Miyabi everytime he was close to the edge of the stage. Shizu touched Miyabi so many times that she lost count.. but the best thing was somehow Shizu managed to grabbed Miyabi's hand(like in a handshake). Blur Shizu didn't realise that she was grabbing his hand which he kept trying to pull it away. She finally realised that she had been holding on to Miyabi's hand when she felt herself jerking from his pulling... (unintentionally, she was in a trance at that time). Well Snoopy did saw Miyabi's face going "grr.." but snoopy didn't know it was Shizu who was pulling it at that time.. Well... Shizu did it a second time @_@; (Shizu recalls that Miyabi was pulling back his hand real hard..and Miyabi is quite strong.. come to think of it, it's scarry now.. accidents could happen..)

When the playing started, Snoopy was standing at the side where the fans were not that tall (even when they're on platform shoes) so snoopy managed to catch a great full view of Miyabi playing the guitar (why is it good for full view.. coz snoopy thinks even watching Miyabi switching the sound plug is nice to watch too.. -_-; ok might sound crazy .. but it's true ) Miyabi's pose and actions when he played the guitar was really cool, it just wants to make you wanna see him play the guitar. It's hard to take your eyes away... And it wasn't looking at his face from a fan point of view(snoopy didn't think he was really good looking ^^") but the overall... it's just sooooo breathtaking... Snoopy suddenly realises that watching people playing guitar can be so attractive =p and the sounds produced are very good of course... In between the songs, Miyabi did 'high-fives' with the fans. Snoopy's hand was rather tired to reach out all the time (probably due to carrying those heavy shopping bag in the afternoon) so snoopy waited for Miyabi to look at the fans in snoopy's direction and lazy snoopy then reached out the hand and 'Bingo!' Miyabi did a perfect
high-five with Snoopy (Yeah! Snoopy scream out of joy..) Actually it was not everytime what Miyabi would do high-five.. sometimes he just reach out and touch the crowds' outstrectched hands. In another instance of high-fives, Snoopy was throwing a "How dare you miss(overlook) me' look and Miyabi did another nice high-five with Snoopy again.... (Yeah! Haha somehow it made snoopy very happy coz he was looking at snoopy while doing the high-fives.. well... -_-;)

Ohh and during the music interlude Miyabi also did the 'hand-swaying' (something like what fans always do... ) He made a pose and one hand was resting on his waist. While the other hand was bent at the elbow and he do the hand-swaying. So graceful and kakoii... ^^ Snoopy like to watch... =p

Finally the songs ended and this time it really marked the end of the event. Miyabi threw his guitar pick and it fell to the floor. Everyone started searching for it... Then Shizu saw someone stepping on it so she tried hard to pull it out. After some hard struggling, she managed to get the pick! Yeah! It was the 2nd pick on our second live event. Haha ^^

About the live

For the first song they sing, the band members swop their positions. Kikasa was the vocalist, singing while starring at the lyrics. Sakito was playing the guitar but he strummed several wrong notes...Kazuki played the bass and Miyabi played the drums. It was quite interesting to see the swop and qutie pleasant to know that Kikasa singing was not bad. Snoopy thinks he sounds like those people going to karaoke.. =p

When they were playing, Miyabi was the most outstanding and most showy with his guitar strumming skills. This sounds kinda bias but if you watch them playing, your view will focus on Miyabi eventually... It's not that the others wasn't good but it's just that you'll just want to watch Miyabi play. Snoopy did try to turn and watch Sakito several times but switches views to watch Miyabi again..
It isn't becoz of his face etc but just that there's a x-factor there.

All the members have their own supporters, which is pretty good. Even the Kazuki who was hidden behind in the drums has his supporters too. Miyabi and Sakito have the most supporters.

Sakito is a charismatic and funny person. He also speaks alot and in many ways, Snoopy thinks his cute and amusing... . Kikasa seems to be acting as the cool one. And Kazuki is the friendly one. And Miyabi is the band leader... haha he always bully Sakito... =p sometimes Miyabi is 'wicked' so dun mess with him @@ (just kidding..)

Performance wise, it was quite tight but it was pretty good. As a whole, the band is quite watchable. They're quite willing to play as much songs for their fans as they could. (They played till the place closes at 10pm) They played a little over the time. Many a times, they squeezed in more songs or extended the length of the songs.. They are very good to their fans. And in return the fans are also very good to them, responding to everything they asked for. We were quite happy and glad that they sang so many songs even though this was their fanclub event only. It'll probably be cool to watch their full live... I guess we were lucky that Dué le quartz decided to hold the event on the day when we were available. They pulled out of several live events and another event on 12/25.

A word of warning : Don't try to touch Miyabi if his not in the mood. Miyabi is really strong (even thought he doesn't look like ^^") When Shizu grabbed his hands and was too shock to let go, he tried to pull it back and if Shizu still didn't let go, accident could happen.. ^^" Shizu said he tried to pull his hand back quite hard, and her hand jerked... Well snoopy saw the expression on Miyabi's face(but snoopy didn't know Shizu was the culprit), he was like "grr..." Scarry ne... -_-; (sweat)

A little Band information

Dué le quartz means the characteristics of the two sides of human (faces), the front and the reverse. Something like that but I might be wrong. When the band first started, Miyabi wasn't in the band yet. He joined in May 99 when the guitarist left coz of musical differences.
Their first mini album debut in November the same year. It was snapped up very fast and they had reprints. The third press was the last print for the album. Their 2nd mini-album(released in May 00), Jisatsu Ganbou also sold out very fast... well look out for their new maxi-singles, [Dear.. from xxx] which had disk 1 and disk 2, which'll be released this Jan 24th...

Most of the songs are written by Miyabi... the style of Kikasa and Sakito is about the same, more melodic type. But Miyabi's style seems more screaming rock type.. he did a lot of the screaming in the songs too. But he also wrote sentimental songs like Requiem (same meaning as Lament)
